NDT
Technician – A
English
speaking experienced NDT Technician having at least:
Secondary School Education. Graduate/Diploma
in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
ASNT (or equivalent) Level-II Certification in UT,
PT, and MT methods. Shall be proficient in ultrasonic shear wave examination.
Experience in MFL Testing of tank floor plates of
Storage Tanks and Heat Exchanger Tube inspection by Eddy Current/MFL Testing is
desirable.
Proficiency in preparation / reading isometric
drawings is essential.
Shall have five (5) years’ experience out of which
three (3) years in Refinery or Petrochemical Industry in independently carrying
out NDT jobs.
NDT Technician-A served
for KNPC more than 08 years may be considered as NDT Technician-A (A) based on
performance.
NDT Technician-A served
for KNPC between 0-08 years shall be considered as NDT Technician-A (B).
NDT
Technician – B
English speaking experienced
professional Radiographer having at least:
Secondary School Education.
Valid ASNT (or equivalent) Level-II certification in Radiographic test
methods.
Radiation Safety Certification/Radiation Work Permit from reputed
Organization.
Valid Radiographer’s License from Ministry of Health, Kuwait.
Coverage for Personal Radiation Monitoring under Ministry of Health,
Kuwait.
Five (5) years experience out of which two (2) years in Refinery or
Petrochemical Industry in independently carrying out Radiography jobs. Prior
work experience in KNPC is preferred.
Ndt technician – c
English speaking experienced NDT
Technician having at least:
Secondary School
Education.
ASNT (or equivalent)
Level-II Certification in Ultrasonic Examination using straight beam
probes.
Proficiency in thickness
gauging using ultrasonic digital thickness meter.
ASNT (or equivalent)
Level-II Certification in MT and PT methods.
Five (5) years related
experience out of which three (3) years in Refinery or Petrochemical Industry.
Prior work experience in KNPC is preferred.
NDT Technician-C served
for KNPC more than 08 years may be considered as NDT Technician-C (A) based on
performance.
NDT Technician-C served
for KNPC between 0-08 years shall be considered as NDT Technician-C (B).
NDT Assistant
Person having Secondary School Certificate. He should have sound
physique capable of writing and communicating in English and work with the NDT
Technicians /Operators.
NDT Assistant
served for KNPC more than 08 years may be considered as NDT Assistant (A) based
on performance.
NDT Assistant
served for KNPC between 0-08 years shall be considered as NDT Assistant (B)
Base Manpower
NDT
Inspector
English
speaking experienced NDT Inspector to perform special NDT related jobs, having
at least:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years NDT
experience.
ASNT Level-III Certification in RT, UT, MT, PT
methods.
Proficient in Eddy Current Testing, Tube Flux Leakage
Testing, Remote visual inspection of Heat Exchanger Tubes, MFL Testing of
Storage tank bottom plates, Ultrasonic shear wave examination of welds and
Interpretation of Radiographs is essential.
AWS CWI or equivalent certification is desirable.
Five (5) years’ experience as NDT Inspector in
Refinery/ Petrochemical Industry is essential.
NDT Inspector served for KNPC more than 08 years may be
considered as NDT Inspector (A) based on performance.
NDT Inspector served for KNPC between 0-08 years shall be
considered as NDT Inspector (B).
NDT Lab Specialist
English speaking experienced NDT Lab
Specialist having at least:
ASNT
Level-II Certification in UT, MT, PT, RT, VT, ET (Eddy Current Testing) methods
is mandatory.
Diploma
in Chemical / Electrical Engineering.
Proficient
in handling NDT Lab Equipment, Calibration, Charging and registration.
ASNT
Level-III Certification or equivalent is preferred.
Assisting
NDT Inspectors as advised by Snr. NDT Inspector.
Five
years’ experience as NDT Lab Technician is essential.
Corrosion Lab Technician
English
Speaking experienced Corrosion Lab Technician to perform Corrosion Lab related
activities, having at least:
Secondary
School Education, Diploma in Chemical / Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Proficient in handling Corrosion Lab
Equipment, Calibration, Charging and registration.
Collecting of various samples for failure
analysis as advised by Corrosion Engineer in coordination with Machine Shop and
Welding Shop.
NACE Certification or equivalent is
preferred.
Assisting Coating Inspectors / Corrosion
Inspectors as advised by Corrosion Engineer.
Five years experience as Corrosion Lab
Technician is essential/ Metallographic sample preparation.
